The BT136 is a glass passivated triac in a plastic envelope. The device is intended for use in applications requiring high bidirectional transient and blocking voltage capability and high thermal cycling performance. Thypical applications of the BT136 include motor control, industrial and domestic lighting, heating and static switching.
